Emilie Sørensen, a dedicated florist in Norway (Oslo), has always believed in the power of community and care. This year, she is taking her passion beyond the shop by joining Norwegian Florists Expats for Hope, a fundraising initiative supporting fedecardio.org, an organization dedicated to providing life-saving care and support for children with heart conditions.
For Emilie, arranging flowers is more than a job—it’s a way to bring beauty and comfort into people’s lives. Now, she wants to extend that same care to children in need. By participating in fundraising events, community drives, and awareness campaigns, Emilie hopes to gather both donations and support from fellow florists and the wider community.
“With every bouquet I create, I think about hope and renewal,” Emilie explains. “Supporting Fedecardio is my way of sending that same hope to children who need it most.” Her commitment shows that even small acts of dedication, when combined with the strength of a community, can make a tangible difference in the lives of those facing serious health challenges.
